Catherine Manoukian is a Canadian violinist from Toronto. Her parents were both musicians and she began learning violin at age 3. My first taste of her music was when I bought her CD "Lyricism" (I admit mostly because of the pretty girl on the cover) and was overwhelmed by the emotional power she imparted through the instrument. If you enjoy music and would like to be introduced to classical pieces for violin and piano, this is the CD for you.
I will post part two tomorrow so tune in.
